The ThermoDrain consists of a single 3/4" copper potable water tube wound around a central copper drain tube. Wastewater flowing down the drain transfers heat to the cold water moving upwards through the coil. The preheated water from the ThermoDrain then feeds the water heater and/or the cold side of the shower thus requiring less energy. The single coil design offers very low pressure drop and high efficiency.
